TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.
There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.
Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)

Making Triangles

There are two ways of creating a triangle: one is by using the Polygon tool and the other is by deleting an anchor from a square or a rectangle. Or three if you consider drawing it all with the Pen tool, or even four or more if you try experimenting with lines, joining anchor points, using the pathfinder… But lets use just two to make life easier ;)

When using the Polygon tool, there are also two ways that you can go:
1. Once the tool is selected, click once over the working area in order to make the tool’s options box appear. Once it appears, enter the radius and the number of sides. Make sure that you use 3 for the sides.
2. Select the tool and then draw the polygon on the working area by dragging the mouse pointer. Use the down arrow key to decrease the amount of sides until you reach 3.

And this is how you can go about it by using the Rectangle tool:
Make a rectangle or a square.
Select the Delete Anchor Point tool (or hit the ”-” key).

Choose one of the corner anchor points and click on it to delete it.
