TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

Start Program in Maximized Mode

For some reason Illustrator doesn’t like to start in maximized mode – and that goes for documents as well.

While I haven’t figured out how to make the documents open in maximized mode, I was able to work out a solution for at least the program itself do so.

Right-click on Illustrator’s shortcut either on the Desktop or on the Start Menu (Windows XP), select Properties and choose Maximized in the Run box.

Now it should always start in maximized mode.

If only I could find out how to automatically maximize documents as well… (* sigh *)
