Closed (sort of)
TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.
There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.
Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)
Illustrator CS2
Turn On Rulers by Default
If you constantly work with rulers the best thing to do is to set them on by default, that is, every new document will have the rulers visible.
In order to do this you’ll have to modify Illustrator’s startup files, Adobe Illustrator Startup_CMYK and Adobe Illustrator Startup_RGB.
» Location (default): Program Files – Adobe – Adobe Illustrator CS2 – Plug-ins.
Open each file and turn on the rulers (View – Show Rulers or Ctrl + R). Save the files and the changes will be applied to new documents.
