Closed (sort of)

TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.

Bevel Box

Required download » Jama 3D
Tube credits » Jazzl’s

Create a new image.
» Settings: 300×350 pixels, 72 dpi, background color = transparent, image type = 16.7 million colors.

Double-click on the Selection tool.
» Settings: left = 50, right = 300, top = 225, bottom = 300, custom size and position = checked.

Flood Fill the selection with any color you wish.
» My color: #FFBE0F.
Deselect.

Apply Redfield’s Jama 3D plug-in.
» Settings:

Note: I’m using Jama 3D v1.65.

Duplicate this layer and move it under the original layer.
Keep it active and Flip the image.

Go to Colors – Adjust – Gamma Correction.
» Settings: link checked, red + green + blue = 0,50.

Place it behind the first shape:

Use the Eraser tool to remove unwanted edges.
» Settings are: shape = round, size = 15, hardness = 100, opacity = 100, step = 25, density = 100.

The box part is ready.

To add stuff inside it, add a new raster layer between the two shapes and start adding Tubes or anything else you wish.
