TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.

Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)

Now convert each layer to raster so that you can use the Retouch tool on the shapes.

Make the red#1 layer active.

Note: all the following steps and settings are for the Retouch tool.

» Settings: mode = Dodge, shape = round, size = 50, hardness = 0, opacity = 15, step = 25, density = 100.

Note: use shape = round at all modes.

Use the tool on the bottom part of the red#1 shape to lighten it up a bit.

Change the mode to Darken RGB and use it on the top edges.
» Settings: size = 50, hardness = 0, opacity = 100, step = 25, density = 100.

Make the red#2 layer active.

Change the brush size to 100 and use it on the bottom part and on both sides of the shape.

Change the mode to Lighten RGB and use it on the top middle part to create a nice shiny look (don’t make it white, though).
» Settings: size = 100, hardness = 0, opacity = 100, step = 25, density = 100.

Change the mode to Lightness Up and use it on the top left area of the highlight you created with the Ligthen RGB mode.
» Settings: size = 50, hardness = 0, opacity = 50, step = 25, density = 100.

Change the mode to Lightness Down and use it on the top edges of the shape.
» Settings: size = 75, hardness = 0, opacity = 25, step = 25, density = 100.

Make the green#1 layer active.

Change the mode to Hue Down and use it on the bottom area of the shape to turn it brown.
» Settings: size = 25, hardness = 0, opacity = 50, step = 25, density = 100.

Change the mode to Darken RGB and use it on the middle area of the shape.
No need to change the settings.

Change the mode to Lighten RGB and use it on the top area.
No need to change the settings.

Change the mode to Hue Down and use it a little bit on the top area.
No need to change the settings.

Change the mode to Burn and use it over the area where you applied the Darken RGB mode a bit.
» Settings: size = 50, hardness = 0, opacity = 25, step = 25, density = 100.

Change the mode to Lightness Up and use it over the brown area at the bottom.
» Settings: size = 10, hardness = 0, opacity = 25, step = 25, density = 100.
