Closed (sort of)

TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.

Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)

Paint Shop Pro Plug-in Help

    Paint Engine

    Saved presets should already come with Paint Engine.

    If you load your plug-in and notice that there are no presets saved (unless your own), go to the directory where you unzipped Paint Engine (or open the zip file again), find the fmachine.ini file and move it to the Windows (default is C:\WINDOWS) directory.

    In case you had already saved your own presets, go to the Windows directory and open the fmachine.ini file that was automatically created when you saved your first preset and copy its contents (you can view the file using Notepad) to the version that came in the Paint Engine zip and move this one to the Windows directory.

    The presets in the file look something like this:

    Setting00=test;1,1,0,0,0,10,144,62,23,0,100,159,32,70,2,8,-13,20,143,4294967144

    where Setting00 indicates the preset number (change it if there’s already a setting with this number in the original file), test indicates the name of the preset and the numbers are the settings.
