Closed (sort of)
TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.
There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.
Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)
Paint Shop Pro Plug-in Help
Sinedots
I
After you’ve installed the filter run AssingPath.exe so that it knows where the .cfg (presets) file is, otherwise it will create sinedots.cfg all over your computer.
I & II
When you find sites that offer presets for these filters, they will usually show them in .txt format for you to copy and paste in a .cfg file (the one where you already keep your presets).
To open this file, click twice on it and a box should pop-up asking with which program you would like to open it. Select a text program and you should be able to view your presets – I usually check don’t use this program always… so that I don’t open other files with the same extension that I shouldn’t modify.
For Sinedots I, there is no space between the preset lines, but for Sinedots II, leave one line blank when adding a new preset.
II
The first time you use it, you won’t be able to save any presets nor load, because it didn’t create a .cfg file.
What you have to do is click on the Open button, select the directory where you would like to save your presets and type any name you wish – this will be the .cfg name – as long as it doesn’t exist already in that folder.
Sinedots II will create the file and then you will be able to save and load presets.
