TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

Keeping Editable Text

Keeping Editable Text tutorial preview.

In order to be able to change text in future modifications of your file, there are two things that you must do:

  1. Create the text as vector (and keep it as vector).
  2. Save the file as .pspimage.

The oldest version that supports vector text is PSP 7, so make sure that when you save the file it is either PSP 7 compatible or higher.

When you want to edit the text, select the Pick Tool, select the text and then right-click on it to open a pop-up menu. In this menu, select the Edit Text option and the Text Entry box will appear with the original text.
