Closed (sort of)

TEOM as you know it has been closed. I will keep it up for reference but it no longer will receive tutorial updates.

There are plans for a completely new site. If you'd like to be notified once the other site is up, simply subscribe to my mailing list.

Thanks for the support throughout all these years :)

Mirroring a Vector Object

p(note). This tutorial assumes that you already have a vector object ready.

With the Pen Tool set to Edit mode, click on the vector object in order to select it.

Edit mode on

Then right-click and select Edit » Select All (this will select all nodes) from the pop-up menu.

Pop-up menu: Edit

Pop-up menu: Edit » Select All

A transformation  box should appear indicating that the nodes have been selected:

Transformation  box

Right-click again and choose Transform  Selected Nodes » Mirror.

Pop-up menu: Transform  Selected Nodes

Pop-up menu: Transform  Selected Nodes » Mirror

And that’s all there is to it.

If you want to mirror multiple objects the best way to accomplish this is by going to Image » Mirror and applying it to the layer containing the objects.
